The view from your office window seldom changes
Common Purpose (CP) is largely unknown to the general public. It recruits and trains its leaders to work "beyond authority," to abuse their posts and serve Common Purpose, instead of their own departments, which they then undermine.
Its members control the NHS, where it wastes £60 billion a year, much of it going into private pockets; and Common Purpose controls most of Britains 8,500 quangos which, according to the Cabinet Office, spend £167 billion annually (most of the money is wasted). Common Purpose leaders even manage the numerous
fake charities which have sprung up over the years.
How many of these Common Purpose trained individuals work for the BBC?
It is reported that the BBC is going to do a radio programme about Common Purpose on the Donal Macintyre show, Radio 5 live - Sunday March 8th at 7pm

Negative Equity
Nearly four million home owners are already in negative equity, according to a leading research firm GfK.
Telegraph
Its calculation is derived from 60,000 interviews with home owners, asking when they bought their property, at what price, and with what mortgage. The company also asked whether the home loan was a repayment deal, or an interest-only mortgage.
Combining this information with data from the Halifax house price index, which shows pries have fallen 18 per cent from their peak, it has calculated that about 3.8 million people are paying their mortgage company more than their house is worth.

Liability Brown
Five months after Crash Gordons first bank bail-out, there is now a growing acceptance in the Bunker that it has not worked.
On Thursday, the Treasury is expected to announce plans to form a “toxic bank”, using taxpayers’ money to insure £500 billion of bad debt.
Meanwhile, over the weekend European Union leaders agreed that the emergency IMF fund should be doubled to $500bn in order to prevent the worldwide recession turning into a full scale depression.

Is ACPO Chivalrous
The Court of Chivalry has had jurisdiction over cases of misuse of arms since the 14th century. It is a civil court, with the Earl Marshal as the sole judge from 1521. The best known medieval action was Scrope v Grosvenor (1385-1390), in which Sir Richard le Scrope was held to have a prior claim to the simple arms azure a bend or. The most recent case was Manchester Corporation v Manchester Palace of Varieties (1954), when a theatre was successfully sued for illegal display of the arms belonging to the corporation.

The Party's Over
Gordon Brown has always maintained that this is a global crisis with roots in the American sub-prime mortgage market and that he is just the man to steer us through the resultant stormy weather
By contrast, David Cameron blames the government's mishandling of the economy and its failure to control recklessness in the City.
However, events this week seem to have played into the hands of the Tory's and have finally sealed Labour's fate come the next General Election. They culminated yesterday in a two-hour grilling for the embattled Prime Minister by the Commons committee that at times left Mr Brown looking like the cornered rat that he is.
If there is a lesson to be learned from this week, it is that tripartite system of banking regulation is not fit for purpose.

“Under European law a member state of the European Economic Area may refuse entry to a national of another EEA state if they constitute a threat to public policy, public security or public health.”

A light dusting of snow has wreaked predictable chaos in Britain, with hundreds of trains delayed or cancelled, major airports are closed, motorways have slowed to a standstill and some of the busiest train services have been cancelled, hundreds of schools in southeast England have also been shut.after a few inches of February snow.
More snow is expected with a band of snow moveing up from Europe during the day which we know will bring further chaos.
London faces near shutdown as the entire fleet of London buses was suspended and parts of the Underground were knocked out by the conditions.

Broon & Bust (evolution)
A winter blizzard of bankruptcies, job cuts and now wild cat strikes has brought Gordon Brown crashing back down in the opinion polls. After an initial ratings boost from his handling of the credit crunch, a wintry Britain is getting rapidly used to daily company closures and staff culls, while long booming house prices have plummeted even faster than the country's currency.
Brown claimed to have "saved the world" from economic meltdown in a slip of the tongue last month, while Harriet Harman, the deputy Labour leader, delightedly described him as "Superman".
This was at the height of the "Brown bounce", when Labour slashed the Conservatives' opinion poll lead thanks to the former chancellor's decisive leadership on the economic crisis.
But such grand claims have started to ring hollow as Brown's poll ratings plunge and whispers start among Labour MPs that things may be going wrong with his handling of the crisis.
