Back in September at a private event hosted by Citigroup, Gordon Brown intervened personally to rescue HBOS. He encouraged Sir Victor Blank, Lloyd’s chairman to buy the failed bank.

In October Gordon Brown bailed out the banks to the tune of £37billion



Today Lloyds Banking Group has warned that HBOS, the mortgage lender it took over last year, slumped to a loss of about £10bn last year as the recession hit all parts of its business.

Vote Labour you know it makes sense.
