Gordon Brown met Pope Benedict XVI this morning to discuss the global economic crisis .



L'Osservatore Romano, the Vatican newspaper, carries a front-page article on the financial crisis by Crash Gordon. It is believed to be the first time a serving Prime Minister has been given this honour.
