Kyoto airlifted

On Friday, 6 April, 2001 Romano Prodi, the current Head of Italy said Europe will implement the Kyoto Protocol no matter what...........

He also wrote: "Some claim the Kyoto Protocol is too expensive.........

Prodi also said that discarding the protocol "would be a tragic mistake."

Today we learn: Artificial snow has been airlifted by helicopters to the upper reaches of the Olimpia delle Tofane course (Italy) in preparation for this weekend's World Cup women's alpine ski races.

"On Sunday, we made 51 flights in two hours," organising committee president Enrico Valle said.

How deep are those carbon footprints?

I am lost for words!
