Prezza turns Tory

Photographs of John Prescott playing croquet on Thursday at his official country mansion were published last night as it was revealed that Labour MPs aim to force him from office. Backbenchers are angered over his extramarital affair and refusal to give up his perks and are demanding that Prescott quits.

One senior Labour backbencher said: "He is making us look like Tories."



Paul Clark, Mr Prescott's parliamentary private secretary secretary, later claimed that the game on the lawns of Dorneywood was part of a GWB "away day".

There has been no comment from Tory leader David Cameron
