European Union Protectorate

The European Union wants to send more officials to the territory of Kosovo than previously envisaged as part of its planned police and justice mission. They are now planning to send 2,200 police officers, judges, customs officials and lawyers to the Protectorate

According to an EU fact sheet released earlier this week the size of the mission is 1,800, however an EU functionary said yesterday it was likely to be larger because of additional requirements identified in planning the take-over of the protectorate

Kosovo's ethnic Albanian puppet leadership are expected to declare independence on Sunday the EU moves in on Monday.

On Sunday when Kosovo declares independence and breaks away from Serbia, should the Scottish Government recognise Kosovo as an independent country? and on what legal basis?
