Is Bernie Eccleston aiding and abetting Crimes against Humanity?
The ECCHR has already concluded in a report that the crimes committed in Bahrain constitute crimes against humanity under international law.
A criminal charge of aiding and abetting can be brought against anyone who helps in the commission of a crime. A person charged with aiding and abetting is usually not present when the crime itself is committed, but he or she has knowledge of the crime before or after the fact, and may assist in its commission through advice, actions, or financial support.

Motor Racing is an international sport. Politics and sport should not mix. By going ahead B.E. and F1 retain their independence.
"Politics and sport should not mix"
Unfortunately they do mix, just like the Olympics.

Politics and sport certainly do get mixed.
Don't you remember Bernie Eccleston bunging New Labour a million or so and getting the ban on cigarette advertising at motor racing venues deferred?
Blair assured us he was " a pretty regular sort of guy" and Eccleston's money was returned - but the deferment continued.
That was quite classy really. An honest politician is one who, once bought, stays bought, One who returns the price and still stays bought is above and beyond.
