The three main parties are depriving voters of an "informed choice" by failing to give details of how they will tackle the deficit.

The IFS say, the Labour party manifesto pledges show that the party needs to find annual savings of £47 billion by the financial year ending March 2015. The corresponding figure for the Conservative Party is £59.4 billion, The Liberal Democrats would need to find £42.7 billion by 2014/15.
