Brown surprise visit to Afghanistan

Gordon Brown has made an unannounced visit to troops in Afghanistan following criticism of his testimony to the Iraq inquiry on Friday.



In what is likely to be his last trip to Afghanistan before the general election, the prime minister visited Camp Bastion in Helmand province to ask 4,000 UK troops to vote Labour
