John Prescott the former deputy prime minister comes out in support of Gordon Brown
He wrote in a blog: “But it wasn’t the Captain that sank the Titanic – a ship they claimed was unsinkable – it was the iceberg. “The best way to avoid disaster is to manage your way around the problem.”
Prescott’s comments came as it emerged that the Prime Minister has instructed his closest aides to track down 10 junior ministers threatening to undermine his leadership by resigning- so he can sack them first.
