Veil Threat

The Leader of the House Jack Straw has waded into controversy - after telling his local newspaper that Muslims who wear the veil make community relations "more difficult" - and concealing the face "a visible statement of separation and difference".



Straw also said he asked Muslims to remove the veil when they attended his constituency surgery in Blackburn.



Come on Jack, you didn't have a problem talking with and negotiating with these veiled individuals.
