Prezza has cracked it, he has traded in the 'cowboy hat' for a 'green helmet' and florescent jacket. STAND-IN Premier John Prescott proved he was leading the terror-gripped nation yesterday - by writing to a newspaper about the heatwave.



With Tony Blair on hols and Britain facing its biggest security threat, the only sign of the Deputy PM was a letter published in the Daily Express. In it he ranted about "dangerous temperature levels over the summer", adding: "I am sure readers will agree it is sensible to have plans in place."
