Royal Mail an Institutional Scam (Lib/Lab/Con)
The Government are selling off the Royal Mail because the European Union
has said it must
It was back in 2006 that the EU commissioner for the internal market,
at the time Charlie McCreevy, told Member State governments across the European
Union that they must scrap their monopoly on delivering letters by
2009.
EU Directives
for the regulation of Royal Mail
Directive 97/67/EC of the European Parliament and of
the Council of 15 December 1997 (came into force in February
1998)
Directive 2002/39/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council
of 10 June 2002 amending Directive 97/67/EC
Directive 2008/6/EC of the
European Parliament and the Council of 20 February 2008 amending the initial
Postal Directive 97/67/EC as amended by Directive 2002/39/EC
Prior
to the implementation of the 1997 European Union Directive, the UK postal
service sector was governed by the Post Office Acts of 1953 and 1969 and the
Telecommunications Act 1981. This legislation set out the responsibilities of
the British Government towards postal services and gave the Post Office its
powers and duties.
The
Postal Services Act 2000 (PSA) implemented the 1997 European Union Directive in
the UK. Statutory Instrument 2002 No. 3050 amended the PSA to take account of
the changes required by the 2002 European Union Directive.

Should we now deport David Cameron?
David Cameron said he was “absolutely delighted” that Abu Qatada has been deported after an eight-year fight to throw him out of Britain.
Cammeron said
"This is something this Government said it would get done and we have got it done, and it is an issue that like the rest of the country has made my blood boil that this man who has no right to be in our country, who is a threat to our country and that it took so long and was so difficult to deport him, but we have done it, he is back in Jordan, and that is excellent news."
and Cameron isn't a threat?
"I believe that Britain should want to remain in the EU so the EU should want us to stay"......
"Because with courage and conviction I believe we can deliver a more flexible, adaptable and open European Union in which the interests and ambitions of all its members can be met.
With courage and conviction I believe we can achieve a new settlement in which Britain can be comfortable and all our countries can thrive.
And when the referendum comes let me say now that if we can negotiate such an arrangement, I will campaign for it with all my heart and soul."
e.g. David Cameron, like Abu Qatada, He has the courage of his conviction
i.e. David Cameron is the European Unions spiritual leader in Great Britain
