The Trillion Euro Question
Today, France and Germany have called for attendees at the Council of Europe meeting to compromise on the European Unions hotly disputed trillion-euro budget, after David Cameron turned up in Brussels threatening to wield his veto.
If you were to earn €1 per second, how long do you think it would take to pay off the European Union budget?
A million seconds is 12 days.
A billion seconds is 31 years.
A trillion seconds is 31,688 years.

David Cameron said he would be “negotiating hard” against an "unacceptable” EU spending increase and defending the British rebate at today's European Council meeting.
Bernard Jenkin, a senior backbench Tory, today said the EU budget is the
"one of the biggest scandals of public life" as it is open to fraud and bad
management.
EU = mc18
It doesn't mater how fast you chase the European Commission, you never catch up with the money. This fact can be expressed as EU = mc18, where EU is the immovable object, mc = mass corruption and 18 is the number of years that it has been impossible to perform a budgetary audit.

'DiMocracy' a company limited by guarantee
SHAME
A company limited by guarantee is usually appropriate where some or all apply:
the organisation is to be quite large;
it will have employees;
it will deliver charitable services under contractual agreements;
it will regularly enter into commercial contracts; and
it will own property or leasehold land.
So What is the real 'Agenda' here?

European Union Groundhog Day
EU accounts not signed off… for the 18th consecutive year
EU = mc18
It doesn't mater how fast you chase the European Commission, you never
catch up with the money. This fact can be expressed as EU = mc18, where EU is
the immovable object, mc = mass corruption and 18 is the number of years that it
has been impossible to perform a budgetary audit.
The European Union and the EU Commission draws upon its LEGAL BASIS on
budgetary maters from
Article
268 to 280 of the EC Treaty. As the European Union has not
performed or been in legal compliance for 18 years we should now withdraw from
the European Union using the provision of
Article 61 of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties
Article 61 Supervening impossibility of
performance
A party may invoke the impossibility of
performing a treaty as a ground for terminating or withdrawing from it if the
impossibility results from the permanent disappearance or destruction of
an object indispensable for the execution of the
treaty. If the impossibility is temporary, it may be invoked only as a
ground for suspending the operation of the treaty.
18 years of non compliance feels fairly permanent to
me.
