The climate secretary, Ed Miliband, has warned of the danger of a public backlash against the science of global warming in the face of continuing claims that experts have manipulated data.

In an exclusive interview with the Observer, Miliband spoke out for the first time about last month's revelations that climate scientists had withheld and covered up information

He said It's right that there's rigour applied to all the reports about climate change, but I think it would be wrong that when a mistake is made it's somehow used to undermine the overwhelming picture that's there,"

So, Ed show me the picture .

Modern research has postulated stigmata are of hysterical origin, or linked to dissociative identity disorder epecially the link between dietary constriction by self-starvation, dissociative mental states and self-mutilation, in the context of a religious belief.

What Pachauri knew

Another skeleton has tumbled out of the closet of IPCC Chairman, Rajendra Pachauri.

The Times reported that Pachauri was told that the IPCC assessment that glaciers would melt by 2035 was wrong, but he waited two months to correct it. He failed to act despite learning that the claim had been refuted by several leading glaciologists.

Special Order of the Day

'fight it out' to the end.

The chairman of the UN's climate science body (IPCC) has told BBC News: "I am not going to stand down, I am going to stand up."

A defiant Pachauri said: "I want to tell the sceptics... who see me as the face and the voice of the science of climate change, I am in no mood to oblige them; I am going to remain as chairman of the IPCC for my entire term."

Brown Exits the Bunker

It would appear that Gordon Brown has survived yet another leadership challenge by members of the Labour party after party members rallied around him.

Six cabinet members, believed to be sympathetic to a Putsch against Brown, issued statements late last night, embracing Brown's role as head of the Labour party.

David Miliband was among the last Cabinet members to come forward to back Brown.

One irate ex-minister observed, the bid to oust Gordon Brown was “something of a pantomime with Geoff Hoon as the front end of the horse”.
